About Us
In 2017, I suffered a medical event that changed our lives direction. At that time, we realized that time here is not guaranteed, and we should be spending more time doing what we love, enjoying nature, and slowing down a bit. We love the outdoors but found tent camping was exhausting: by the time you dig out all your camping gear, get everything packed and try feverishly to shove the cooler in the car, only to get there and have to unpack it all and set up camp. Let’s not even talk about packing it all up again in a few days. We wanted to take the hassle out of being close and enjoying nature, while also wanting to share everything we love about this area with others.
Good-Natured Glamping is a small off-grid “Glampgroundā featuring three large sites on 8 acres. We are just 7 miles from the Village of Ellicottville and across the street from the popular Boyce Hill hiking trail. We offer two 12 x 14 Safari Tent sites with 8ft covered porches and one Stargaze Bell Tent with a detached canopy and outside sitting area. Each site has plenty of space, so instead of looking directly at your neighbor, you have a view of the surrounding hills and wetlands. Plenty of wildlife to observe, you’ll often see deer foxes, and a variety of birds great for bird watchers In fact we have our own flock of Canada Geese who have decided to take residence here. At night you can have a campfire, lay out in the grass, and stargaze or if you’re lucky, catch the firefly shows in the summer. Whether it is an outdoor adventure you’re looking for or just some rest and relaxation, hope you come spend it with us!
